Train With Confidence

At Samurai Ju-Jitsu Academy, your safety, development, and experience come first.

As proud members of the World Ju-Jitsu Federation, all aspects of our club are supported, maintained, andoverseen to the highest standards.

The WJJF was founded in the UK in 1976 by Robert Clark, with the aim of bringing traditional Japanese ju-jitsu to a wider audience through a structured, professional system. Since then, it has grown into one of the most recognised organisations for ju-jitsu in the UK and internationally.

Built on decades of experience, the WJJF has developed a syllabus that blends traditional martial arts principles with modern coaching methods — ensuring training is not only effective, but safe, progressive, and accessible to all.

Through this structure, every affiliated club operates within clear standards and guidance, including:

• Child protection and safeguarding policies

• All instructors are DBS checked for your peace of mind

• Social media and conduct guidance

• First aid awareness and safety procedures

• Qualified coaching and instructor standards

• Structured systems to ensure safe and effective training

This means everything is in place to run a professional, well-supported club — without ever compromising on safety.

At Samurai Ju-Jitsu Academy, you’re not just joining a class.

You’re stepping into a system built on tradition, backed by decades of experience, and designed to help you or your child grow with confidence, discipline, and leadership.
